We had a suite for our family. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we still had a nice experience. The front desk was friendly and the breakfast area was exceptionally clean. We will be using this stop in Jamestown every time we travel through.
The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was typical (eggs, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc). The only improvement I would suggest is the beds. They are spring mattresses and uncomfortable in spots.
Comfort inn has changed names to become independent. There is mold growing in the ac that was in the room. Front desk staff was great, very helpful offered to switch rooms and have a discounted rate. The person working the breakfast counter was very rude, she didn't appear to like her job and it showed. Decent selection for their breakfast, but the warm food was just that... They precooked it and placed it into stream warmers which caused it to become rubbery tasting.
The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and new, the gentleman at the front desk was great, and he's the only reason I gave 3 stars. So if you stay here stay away from the 2nd floor rooms on the end, the interstate noise and on ramp noise is deafening in room 202. The windows are the cheapest they could find and definitely have no sound blocking capabilities. Well after getting 3 hours of sleep after a 16 hour day I was looking forward to a decent breakfast, here is where you should just walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. The eggs (powdered) were wet and soupy, the sausage was nasty, and after one bite of each, I settled for Tony the Tiger, some OJ, and a banana. I will probably stay again, but I will ask for a ground floor room next to the lobby and eat at McDonald's.
If you need a bed for the night it works. Nothing fancy hotel convenient to interstate and gas station.
