My friend and I will only take our animals (a dog and cat) to Dr. Pierson at Prairie Veterinary Hospital. He is so knowledgeable and very thorough in his examinations. Also, he is just a very nice person... very compassionate and sincere about wanting to help. The ladies who work there are the same, helpful and good at what they do. It's definitely worth the drive (about an hour) to get there!
Very impressed with the care received with Dr. Pierson & staff. They were very helpful to our family most recently and promptly returned after hours calls for us during a difficult time. Dr. Pierson was very professional & seemed calm which was helpful for myself. He was very respectful as we decided later on to return for the beloved deceased pet & it appeared they had cleaned her up. Which was very touching and meant quite a bit to me. The emergency fee may have been costly, but the care received and the prompt reply to urgency was very worth it. I would recommend them to anyone regularly or as an emergency vet.
Very knowledgeable and helpful. They have an emergency after hours number call, with a fee. I feel they go above and beyond what needs to be done to make sure your pet is taken care of.
3 years ago I called this business after hours because my dog broke one of her feet when she jumped out of my arms. I asked the vet if I can take her in and how much it would cost and ended the call. A year later I got a letter from a collection agency saying I owe them $55. I called the agency and asked what this was about and they called me back a day later saying it was a $55 charge for calling after hours. I was never made aware of this charge and have no idea how they got my information to even stick this delinquency under my credit history. I am going to dispute this charge with Equifax. But I would like you to know to be weary of this business and any additional charges they may try to put on you.I really do not mind paying the $55 but the 3 years it has been on my credit report has severely damaged my credit score for years to come.
