Better Homes property management is a very good place to rent from. My wife and I were looking around for an apartment and when we were taken to Better Homes the same day we applied we were able to look at 3 Apartments one two bedroom about 800 square feet or more at a rent price of $565 a month. The same day we applied we were able to sign the lease. Other properties we looked at for other rental agencies were at least 600 or $650. The women there were very kind to my family. Highly recommended.
Kicked me out of my apartment for no reason I was gonna pay my rent then came home that night with a note on my door telling me to pay or quit in like 3 days.... then I called them was talking to ASHLEY and JILL then they hung up when I was in mid sentence horrible place to rent from
Very rude, disrespectful, and Unprofessional associates. Multiple times they entered my appartment, without my consent, and never gave me a heads up. Also they don't like to give change, and only accept rent payments in certain forms. In regards to their hours they would open well after, and close well before their established hours. Very interesting how people are suppose to pay their rent that way...
I’ve heard it time and time again from friends and family to not rent from Better Homes. However my first hand experience was when my dying grandmother moved into an apartment and the first month she lived there the ceiling in her bathroom above the tub collapsed. They tried to make my grandmother pay for water damage from a leaking pipe that caused damage to her apartment. My grandma had cancer and was barely able to walk much less destroy a ceiling above her own tub. They continually raised rental prices in the year my grandma lived in their building. After my grandma passed my mom and I had the apartment floors professionally cleaned and we repainted the walls. My mom never got the deposit back and Bonnie gave my mom a bad rental review to other landlords when my mom moved out. I strongly encourage and warn you to seek other property management. Their poor treatment of tenants who are leaving them is out of line and unethical.
All the kindness goes out the window when it is time to leave. It took over a month to get our deposit back. We were sent a single check for 10.00 claiming we had over paid one month. There were no other checks in the envelope. When we complained, we were essentially called liars because we did not keep the envelope as "proof." So we were charged to stop the checks we "lost" before we were given our deposit back. Right before Christmas too. I also find it deplorable that you cannot leave reviews on their Facebook page. If Bonnie operated this business in a way that was truly ethical, there should be no problem letting reviews be public. Let the Google rating and the reviews from an old (but not deleted) business page speak for themselves.
